Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how LiteHQ uses cookies and similar technologies. It explains what these technologies are and why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

2. Why do we use cookies?

We use first-party cookies that are strictly necessary for our Website to operate — essential cookies needed for authentication, security, and core platform functionality. With your consent we also use Google Analytics (a third-party analytics cookie) to understand how the Website is used. Analytics only loads if you choose “Accept all” in the cookie banner; we do not run advertising or social-tracking cookies.

3. Types of cookies we use

  • Essential website cookies: Strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our Website and to use some of its features.
  • Authentication cookies: Used by Supabase Auth to keep you signed in across pages and tabs. Cleared on sign-out.
  • Security cookies: Used to protect against cross-site request forgery and to rate-limit suspicious activity.
  • Analytics cookies (optional): Set by Google Analytics only if you choose “Accept all”, to measure aggregate usage. Not set when you choose “Essential only”.

4. How can I control cookies?

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject the cookies we set, you may still use our website, though access to some functionality (e.g. signing in) may be restricted.

Exercise your data rights

Beyond cookie preferences, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you. We acknowledge within 24 hours and respond within 20 calendar days under the NZ Privacy Act 2020 (and GDPR where applicable).
