Principles

How we decide what ships.

  • Shipped beats announced

Items move into Now only when an engineer is actually working on them. No theatrical roadmaps.

  • Operator feedback wins ties

When two items have similar votes, the one with sharper operator stories ships first. Votes inform, they don’t decide.

  • Reduce footprint, then add surface

Every new surface gets a counterpart simplification somewhere else. The product gets smaller as it gets more useful.
